We stayed next to casa mila and could visit casa amatller. Private parking & friendly staff...
-
Some of great tourist attractions like universitat metro were right by the hotel. The venue was in the central setting.
-
Not far from many restaurants, shops.
-
Super nice staff, great location, nice rooms.
The spa area is 10€/day, which is a bit strange, otherwise everything was great!
-
We had booked a premium room, which was very spacious and had a wonderful view of the street. Unfortunately, it is difficult to sleep with open windows because of the noise. The location is ideal for sightseeing and nightlife. Hotel in general is very cruisy :-)
Personnel rather unmotivated. Unfortunately the spa area was closed for renovation. No special conditions with a parking garage nearby.

Staff was very friendly and courteous!
The rooms could have been a little bigger! Second chair was missing, wardrobe was missing! . Hotel room is ideal for short trips
-
quick reach to lovely Restaurant and Clubs are nearby.
-
Near to public transportation stops as well as the city center
-
Great location in the center, nice building, very good japanese restaurant on-site

There was nothing that struck me as particularly beautiful or unique: except the massage. That was a super cool massage.
The interior design is incredibly boring. I think my grandparents would like it but not a modern sophisticated aesthetic-conscious guest. The person shows the most necessary kindness, nothing more. The gym area is underground (bad).

The staff were all very friendly and courteous. I have rarely been greeted so nicely with an offer of a guided tour of the spa area. The room could have been a little bigger, the open combination of room and bath was chic and yet functionally well solved.
No wardrobe in the room, therefore little storage space for clothes. The elevator is definitely too dark - therefore uncomfortable in a strange environment.
-
The hotel staff was excellent. With the windows closed there was a peaceful silence in the room. Rooms are cleaned everyday and during the whole day. City centre is in walking distance. Neighbourhood is perfect. This hotel I most definitely will return to. If you are looking for comfort, service, humour and have an open mind towards people, this hotel is definitely a perfect place to stay.
The Spa wasn't finished, so there was a little bit of noise of building and we could use all the facilities. They will finish the Spa within two weeks.

Great location in the middle of the gay district. Very gay friendly. Loved the roof top sky bar and excellent gym facilities - the buffet breakfast was great too. Rooms minimalist but comfortable - limited storage space if staying for more than a few days though.
Even though we stayed in early July the roof top bar was closed on a Monday as were a large number of bars in the area
-
The service at the terrace was very poor.

This was my third stay at the hotel. I was pleased to see that the renovations that were being done last year are complete and the hotel is even more beautiful than before. The location is ideal and the hotel staff while truly professional are at the same time exceedingly approachable and friendly.
I entered the Ground Bar one night on the way home and a woman who said she represented the hotel stopped me and told me it was a lesbian party and to "get out". When I explained that I was just going to the elevator she raised her voice and again told me to get out. This woman was extremely rude to me and I am not cerrtainly not used to being spoken to in such a manner particularly when I was a guest at he hotel. Nor was it posted anywhere what was going on that night. I'm sure this was an isolated incident because if I thought this is how guests are now going to be treated at Axel I would not recommend the hotel to anyone. Other that this experience the rest of my stay was great as usual. As I stated earlier this was my third stay at the hotel and I was very happy to return.
